_________Originally from Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast, Justin hosts The Current’s omakase experience in Santa Teresa.
He brings the flavours of his Caribbean upbringing to the table. A curry flavour he contributed to the menu recalls his upbringing on the Caribbean side - a small detail with a personal story behind it.
Getting to know him is part of the evening: a chance to hear his story, ask questions and understand his contribution to the food. As you make a handroll and prepare elements of the omakase together, conversation moves between the ingredients in front of you and the flavours he grew up with.
Ten courses give the evening its rhythm, with space between dishes to talk, taste and take a closer look.

The experience can take place at your private villa in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. We will confirm the kitchen and dining setup needed before booking.
